MR's 4th Birthday started out grand for her! When we got downstairs, we noticed our favorite Elf, Sam, had come back for a birthday visit and decorated a little bit. He hung streamers and made a little sign for MR. She was sooo excited to see him!
Next she opened up a gift from Thad and me. A Leapfrog TAG reader pen. She loved it! She had to read the Cat In The Hat right away! (And yes, I know she is wearing a Christmas nightgown...but she loves it...)
Thad then made his famous pancakes and MR got a Mickey Mouse pancake.
MR got to take a special snack to school later that day. And she took large cookies with sprinkles (sorry no pictures!).
Thad picked her up from school and we took her to Chuck E. Cheese, a place I said I would never go! But she has asked before so we tried it. She said this morning she did not want to go back! She hates large costumed people, and of course Mr Cheese was walking around all night. So she was either clinging to me or Thad, or screaming at Mr Cheese. Guess that ended Chuck E. Cheese outings! Thank goodness! Our good friends, the Littles, met us there for the "fun".
